CONSO1 - STEREO CONSOLE

Materials: Walnut

This piece was a collaboration between us and Brad Kayal, a San Fransisco based designer. The piece was inspired by the mid-century stereo consoles of the sixties, which made music a focal point of the living space. The idea was to take that aesthetic, and design something that would be as good or better than current high end offerings.

The cabinet is mitered at the corners with splines to reinforce the joint. It sits atop a half lapped base. The interior was carefully partitioned to create the ideal air space for the sub woofer enclosure. The open shelf is sized to accommodate the client’s 7” vinyl collection.

A control panel allows you to connect to several inputs, or connect via Bluetooth.
